We believe that mobile homes provide a better alternative for the low-rent apartments. People choose to live in mobile home communities for many reasons. The ability to have a private yard, pets, outside parking (and/or a carport) and privacy far outweigh anything an apartment can offer. Additionally, mobile home parks offer a developed sense of community, pride of ownership and, mainly, affordability. It is unfortunate that this housing sector has been stigmatized for so long, and it should not be! The truth is that many of these communities offer major benefits to their dwellers at a fraction of the cost over a typical apartment rental unit.
